Like many others, I am concerned about the role of money in politics. Too often, we see big name corporate-sponsored candidates sweep local and state elections by drowning out their competition with ads plastered everywhere there are eyeballs to see them. But has this way of doing things made the country better? I believe that more heads are better than one – the more of us who step in to do the work, the easier it is to share the load.

Democracy requires cooperation and education with as few barriers as possible. That’s what this site aims to deliver. Here, you will find report cards compiled for elected officials, supporting links from the people who have submitted grades, and canvassing materials free for any grassroots groups who want to keep their neighbors informed ahead of elections.
